Le “Prospettive dei rapporti tra agricoltura e agroindustria” oggi devono necessariamente passare per accordi di filiera, indispensabili a superare la contrapposizione che c’è sempre stata in passato tra agricoltura e industria e creare un dialogo di collaborazione tra questi due mondi. L’industria deve fare la sua parte e garantire al produttore un ritorno economico certo e sicuro. A questo nuovo concetto di filiera stiamo lavorando da tempo insieme alle grandi organizzazioni agricole, con Coldiretti in testa. La finalità è quella di far sì che gli agricoltori producano il meglio avendo la garanzia sul prezzo finale, vera incertezza dei decenni passati. Costruendo progetti seri di filiera, tra agricoltori e industria agroalimentare si crea un circolo virtuoso: l’industria ha la sensibilità di quanto e cosa chiede il mercato e può trasmettere all’agricoltore questo vantaggio organizzando insieme le produzioni. L’obiettivo del contratto di filiera è anche quello di rilanciare la produzione bovina in Italia per arrestare il calo del patrimonio bovino. In passato abbiamo assistito a una politica agricola comunitaria sbagliata che ha dato sovvenzioni per chiudere gli allevamenti. Ora questa politica è finita, anche perché a livello mondiale c’è fame di proteine animali e l’obiettivo principale per ogni Paese, che punta al benessere della propria popolazione, è garantire l’accessibilità e la disponibilità di carne per tutti.

Today, the “Prospects of the relationships between agriculture and the agro-industry” necessarily need to go through supply chain agreements, essential to overcome the historical opposition between agriculture and industry, creating a collaborative dialogue between these two worlds. Industry must play its part and guarantee the producer a safe and secure economic return. We have been working for a long time at this new supply chain concept together with the main agricultural organizations, principally with Coldiretti. The final scope is to ensure that farmers can produce at best whilst having guaranteed their final price, the real uncertainty over the past decades. Building real supply chain projects, a new virtuous circle is created between farmers and industry: industry has the perception of how much and what the market demands and can convey this advantage to the farmer organizing the production together. The object of the supply chain contract is also the relaunch of beef production in Italy in order to halt the decrease of the beef heritage. In the past, we have witnessed a mistaken Community agricultural policy that has given funds to close down farms. Now this policy is over, also because there is a worldwide hunger for animal protein, and the main goal for each country that aims at the wellbeing of its population is to guarantee the accessibility and availability of meat for everyone.
